ADVENTURE PASS

Your library card gets you free access to local attractions, thanks to the Iowa Libraries Adventure Pass Program. To ensure an fun and effortless experience for you and your family, make sure to read the following guidelines and venue-specific information.

 

General Information

  • Passes are available to CPL cardholders who are 18 years and older and residents of Clinton, Iowa. Your card cannot be expired or have fees of over $10.
  • To log in, you will need to use your library card number and pin. If you don't know your pin, please contact the library to reset it.
  • One pass to each venue may be reserved once every 365 days.
  • Reservations are available up to 90 days in advance. Always verify the open dates of any venue before making a reservation.
  • Passes cannot be used for any other special member events.

Cancellations

  • If you cannot use a pass at the time you reserved, please cancel your reservation at least one day in advance. If you miss your reservation without cancelling beforehand, you will have to wait 365 days to reserve a new pass. Cancel your reservation by calling the library during open hours at (563) 242-8441.

The Sawmill Museum

Pass Information

  • Admits 2 adults and up to 4 dependents.
  • You will need a physical entry pass in order to visit this attraction. Passes are available at the Main Branch.
  • Show us the following at the front desk to pick up the pass:
    • A copy of your confirmation page (either on your phone or a printed copy).
    • Library card or ID which matches the name on the confirmation page.
  • You may pick up the entry pass no more than one day before your scheduled visit.
  • Return the pass to the library no more than one day after your scheduled visit.

Pass Information

  • Admits two adults and all dependents.
  • To enter, a printed, physical copy of the confirmation page is required, as well as a valid photo ID which matches the name on the printed pass. ​​​​
  • If you don't have access to a printer, contact the library at (563) 242-8441, email your confirmation page to info@clintonpubliclibrary.us, or use our mobile printing service. There is no charge to print an Adventure Pass.

Pass Information

  • Admits two adults and up to four children who reside in the same household (18 and under). If you have more than 4 children, you will receive 50% off the admission for each additional child.
  • You will need a physical entry pass in order to visit this attraction. Passes are available at the Main Branch.
  • Show us the following at the front desk to pick up the pass:
    • A copy of your confirmation page (either on your phone or a printed copy).
    • Library card or ID which matches the name on the confirmation page.
  • You may pick up the entry pass no more than one day before your scheduled visit.
  • Return the pass to the library no more than one day after your scheduled visit.

Pass Information

  • Admits up to five guests.
  • You must pick up the physical membership card from the Main Branch prior to your visit. Automated paper printouts will not be accepted at the venue.

    • Library card or ID which matches the name on the confirmation page.

Museums for All

Through Museums for All, those receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) can gain free or reduced admission to more than 1,000 museums throughout the United States simply by presenting their SNAP EBT (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Electronic Benefit Transfer) card.

Museums for All is a national, branded access program that encourages individuals of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum habits. It is open to participation by any type of museum — including art, history, natural history/anthropology, and general museums, children’s museums, science centers, planetariums, nature centers, historic houses/sites, zoos, aquariums, botanical gardens, and arboretums.
