SUPPORT THE LIBRARY

There are many ways community members can support the Clinton Public Library; through the Friends, monetary or material donations, sponsoring a big program/event like Summer Reading, or volunteering.

If you're an author, an artist, business owner, etc. and have a program for the library to host, please call the library to discuss the possibility of putting one together.

If you wish to sponsor the library and/or one of its events, please contact the director by email at smesecher@clintonpubliclibrary.us or call (563) 242-8441.

Volunteer

We have opportunities for short term and long term volunteerism. If you are 18 or older, you will be subject to a background check. Volunteers have to be at least 14 years of age.

Adult and teen volunteers are always appreciated. One of the main volunteer opportunities for adults is aiding in our Homebound Delivery program. To become a Homebound Delivery volunteer, please contact Cheryl at (563) 242-8441. Teens can assist with shelving and program prep; please talk with Youth Services staff about a volunteer application or email childrens@clintonpubliclibrary.us.

The Friends of the Library need volunteers for staffing their Bookstore. Please contact the Friends for any information at (563) 594-6750.

Donate

The Clinton Public Library is grateful for gifts, and its collection has been enriched by donations of materials as well as contributions. Through donors, the library has been able to acquire materials which could not have been purchased otherwise. The library staff can supply, upon request, a list of needed materials for consideration by the donor. Please see the Gifts to the Library Policy for more information and a donation form.
